Guided Reading/Registration Task Correction Text A-J & Answers (items 4,7) 2 Teacher Resources combined in 1 set 2.25 These 10 text extracts (two sets: A-E and F-J) can be used for a Guided Reading Activity, as a Registration Task or as a focused lesson on proof reading or punctuation. They have been typed with numerous errors (spellings and punctuation). Pupils are to find all the errors and correct them. A skill that is often lacking when finishing a piece of writing - proof reading for errors. This activity helps children to practice this skill. These texts could be displayed on the IWB for the whole class to correct and re-write, or copied for each child to correct by annotating the sheet. Corrected texts/answers are also provided, with corrections shown in colour for ease of identification.
